HILLSPRINT Hambleton Football Combination division one leaders Sportsman’s, N’ton hosted Streetlam Farmers and won 4-2.

Second-placed Stokesley Wanderers visited Knayton and won 4-0. James Stinson gave Wanderers a 1-0 half time lead. Five minutes into the second half Wanderers had scored a further three goals with a brace from Stinson to complete his hat trick and a further goal from Matty Appleby.

Sixth-placed Kildale hosted third-placed Cowtons and had a comfortable 8-0 win with a brace each from Adam Wilson, Lewis Wood, Harry Chow and Matt McGreevy. The win moves Kildale up to fifth in the table.

In division two, second-placed Golden Lion visited Leeming United and won 4-0. After a goalless first half, Lion’s Ben Darville scored a brace on 65 and 70 minutes.

Lee Humphries scored a penalty on 86 minutes, and Eddy Thornborough scored a fourth three minutes later. The win moves Lion to within a point of Shorthorn with a game in hand.

Catterick Rovers hosted White Bear, Bedale and had a resounding 13-1 win. Connor Fleming led the Rovers scorers with six goals followed by a brace each from Bailey Proudlock and Chris McNab and further goals from Sam Carter, Liam Leinster and Ethan Brown.
