DAVINA MATTHEWS became the new ladies club champion at Catterick Golf Club after 36 holes played in windy and wet conditions which resulted in some high scores.
Round 1: 1st Davina Matthews (12) 89 , 2nd Sandra Jones (17) 99, 3rd Anne Moore (19)100. Round 2: 1st Davina Matthews 95, 2nd Val Hay 99, 3rd Sandra Jones 101. The best net trophy was won by Val Hay with net scores of 84 and 76.
The World Wildlife nine hole qualifying competition was sponsored by Joan Braginton who presented the first prize to Sandra Jones (17) 19pts, 2nd Susan Bingham (27) 17pts, 3rd Val Hay (23) 17pts.
Seniors team event was won by Ted Riley, Gordon Hawley, Frank Iveson and Gordon Butterfield 119pts, 2nd Nigel Fletcher, Bob Matheson, Michael Rooney and Gary Kirkbright 114pts, 3rd Julian Taylor, Antony Barry, Graeme Prince and Geoff Hammond 109pts.
Pro Stableford: 1st Calum Hoyle (19) 29pts, 2nd Daniel Holmes (20) 28pts, 3rd Graeme Knowles (21) 24pts
