Swaledale Runners at the McTaggart Trot
GREAT fun was had at the McTaggart Trot on 23rd December at Barton.
This is a great little charity event in aid of St Theresa's Hospice.
You choose your distance, 3.5, 7 or 11 miles and are put in a team of 3. You run together, with a runner dropping out at their distance till there is just the 11 mile runner left to finish the race. Cakes and tea at the end. Well done to the event organisers for a great event. Great running by all Swaledalers.
Four Swaledalers took part in the Jolly Holly Jog on 30th December at Ripon. Peter Devlin was first home for the club in 56.47, followed by Rebecca Pickles 58.01, Roger Brisley 1.06.32, Julia Spttle 1.06.35.
