RICHMOND and Zetlands athletes were at Wistow for the 10k, Scarborough and a few of the local and not so local parkruns. A strong squad was dispatched to Wistow near Selby for the 10k, with Rob Scott taking the top honours for the club in 1st and smashing his pb in the process (32:26, pb), he was followed by the ever consistent Steve Middleton in 8th and the 2nd V40 (36:08), Mark Forrest also had a good run in 10th and the top V50 runner (36:45), Lee Davies was next in 12th and another to smash his pb to be just agonisingly just outside 36 minutes (37:01, pb) and Josh Lincoln also showing his promise with a big pb by over a minute in 13th place (37:45). These results meant that Richmond and Zetland men took home the team prize. At the recent Scarborough 2.5k race two of our juniors had great finishes with Callum Crisp taking 4th, just ahead of Tom O’Mahoney in 5th.

Kyle Rabjohn took the journey down to the Boston parkrun – no not the one in the USA the original one in Lincolnshire and finished 2nd overall but setting a new pb for that course and smashing the 11 -14 year old record (18:46, pb). Rob Scott was 1st at Northallerton parkrun (18:06) and Ken Harker was 6th (19:55). At Catterick parkrun Daniel Francis was 1st overall (18:43), Tom O’Mahoney was 3rd in a new pb (19:16), Ryan Greer in 42nd (25:24), Thomas Greer in 59th (27:04), Tyler Wilson in 71st (27:42), Kiska Wilson in 72nd (27:43), Karen Greer in 112th (33:18) and Natalie Wood in 115th (34:19). Reece Dalton took top honours at Fountains Abbey parkrun (16:28), Shona Fletcher in 18th and the 1st lady (20:06) and Nicki Buckett in 243rd (29:12).
