THROUGHOUT the Brexit negotiations, the media of the United Kingdom has regularly kept us informed of all the issues involved which has certainly given business and other wider communities the chance to challenge the Government on its intentions.
However, it has not been easy to gauge the reaction of our fellow EU residents as the media in the EU and UK appear to have been rather reluctant to report on their views.
In comparison, it would have been interesting if we had learnt whether or not they have been similarly challenging their respective Governments.
I am pretty certain that those working in the tourism and wine EU industries will be extremely concerned over their jobs as they will want to ensure a continuation of a fair-trading relationship with the UK.
The EU triumvirate of Mr Barnier, Mr Juncker and Mr Tusk have been noticeably reticent about the economic future of the EU after Brexit which could turn out to be quite revealing.
