Durham County Council wants to start composting garden waste in Coxhoe
I NEVER thought I would applaud Durham County Council but I do for seeing the sense and practicality for green waste recycling at Coxhoe but I do.
I wonder if the £100,000 saved would reflect in further sites being taken back in house i.e. civic amenities where outside contractors make the money but that’s maybe a bit too much to ask.
Perhaps after realising their loss they may see a bit sense in the building of a new headquarters in Durham and relocate to a less obstructive location.
