Sir, – I understand that North Yorkshire County Council has called in Pricewaterhouse Cooper to advise them on how to save money – and paid the accountants £95,000 for the privilege!
Surely a good starting point would be for the council to scrap its unnecessary propaganda publication at a cost of £400,000 per year.
