GEORGE HAYES seems incapable of abiding by a democratic vote (D&S Times, Mar 3).

He is quite correct in that 27 per cent did not vote in the referendum and that 48 per cent wanted to remain, but he appears to suggest that the 27 per cent would have voted ‘remain’.

Equally, I could argue that the 27 per cent would have voted to leave along with the 52 per cent with common sense who voted for Brexit.

However you look at it, the majority voted to leave. I’m sick to death of those who didn’t get their own way and are unable to accept this result. They keep harping on about another vote until presumably they get the result they want. Tough.

Let’s get on with Brexit, the sooner the better.
