A BOY who failed to go home after school on Wednesday has been found safe and well.
Police appealed for help to trace the 14-year-old who was reported missing after he left The Academy at Shotton Hall, near Peterlee, on foot on Wednesday afternoon but did not go home that night.
A spokesperson for Durham police said he had since been found safe and well and thanked the public for sharing their appeal to find him.
