HEALTHWATCH Darlington will hold a ‘Tea and Tell’ event on Wednesday, October 17. Members of the public are invited to share their opinions of NHS services between 12.30pm and 2pm at Jubilee House, Chancery Lane. For more information, call 01325-380145.
Coffee morning
ST Andrew’s Church in Haughton-le-Skerne is holding a coffee morning with stalls in the church hall on Saturday, October 20, between 10am and 11.30pm. All proceeds will go to the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Annual reunion
DARLINGTON’S Rothmans Pensioners are holding their annual reunion at the Dolphin Centre on Wednesday, November 28 between 1pm and 6pm. For more information, call 01325-300942.
Craft sessions
THE Friends of Fryer’s Field will host a hedgerow planting and woodland crafts session on Sunday, November 18. Between 10am and 1pm, visitors to the field can help to plant wild primroses and hedgerow trees, sample jam and rosehip syrup, take part in woodland craft sessions and compete in a ‘bonkers for conkers’ competition.
Autumn lecture
AN autumn lecture of the North-East Methodist History Society will be given by Profesor Robert Moore of Liverpool University at Elm Ridge Methodist Church on Carmel Road South from 2.30pm on Saturday. The event costs £2 for non members and is suitable for people aged 18 and over.
