A CHANGE of identity has led to a flurry of enquiries for one landscape gardener.
Andy Smith has run his own business for four years but recently changed its name to Green Onion Landscaping.
“We’ve already seen a rise in phone calls since the van’s been on the road so it’s obviously working,” said the 40-year-old from Stockton.
“Regardless of whether you are a big or small company, if you have an identity and get a good reputation, you can build on it.
Mr Smith has worked in the landscaping business for 18 years and has recently found himself in demand from people who have decided to stay and improve their homes, rather than move.”
Mark David, of Business Link, helped him secure funding towards the marketing, design and branding project in conjunction with North- East England Investment Centre.
