AWARD-WINNING folk duo John Tams and Barry Coope will be in concert at Reeth Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 9.
Mr Tams was a member of The Albion Band and Home Service and is perhaps best known for his work at the National Theatre and as Rifleman Daniel Hagman in the Sharpe television series.
He has had a career spanning four decades as a singer/songwriter, actor and director and has recently been involved with the Band of the Rifles and Bugles on a charity single which was the official Christmas release for Help for Heroes.
Keyboard player Mr Coope is also well known as a member of a capella trio Coope, Boyes and Simpson.
Support is by Teesdale duo Exiles From Eden, with traditional and contemporary music on guitars, whistle, flute, pipes, bodhran and vocals.
