YOUNG artists are getting ready for Christmas as their college opens it doors for a festive craft fair.
Their work will go on sale at Cleveland College of Art and Design from 10am to 2pm tomorrow.
Lyndsey Schorah, photography lecturer, said: “There is some exceptional talent in the college and the work that the students and staff produce is incredible.”
The work ranges from 99p items to commissioned pieces of art, and stalls will include contemporary jewellery, hand-made bags, gifts and Christmas cards, porcelain items, ceramics, fashion items, homeware, DIY craft supplies, paintings and Christmas decorations.
Florist Carl Banks, who has shops in Darlington, Ripon and Yarm, will hold a masterclass in festive flower design between 10am and 2pm. The cost is £35, and places can be booked on 01642-288888.
Visitors to the campus in Green Lane, Middlesbrough, will be able to find out about the college’s contemporary art and design courses.
Details on how to apply are available on 01642-288888.
