After a highly successful Redcar Model Rail exhibition this month, Cleveland Model Railway Club is inviting members of the public to come and see how it is all done at an open day.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, September 8, when a donation from the proceeds of the summer show will be made to the club's adopted charity Victoria’s Wish.
A spokesperson for the club said: "This will be a chance to come and talk to members in our clubroom at Unit 2, The B-Hive, Skelton Industrial Estate, Skelton-in-Cleveland, TS12 2LQ and be a day club member for £1 (adults) and 50p (children).
"Visitors will see several layouts working and under construction in various scales and gauges, displays, club sales, and refreshments."
There is disabled access, except to the mezzanine, and free parking.
