Police said two men were arrested after a "large" cannabis farm was found at a business park in Wensleydale.
The discovery was made in Hawes on Thursday afternoon after police were called by a member of the public.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said on Thursday: "We received information from a member of the public about suspicious circumstances at a building in a business park in Hawes.
"Shortly after 2pm this afternoon, our officers attended and located a large cannabis grow inside.
"Two men at the scene were arrested - they remain in custody at this time. Enquiries are continuing at the scene.
"As always, we are grateful to the local community for any information linked to illegal drugs. Your information could be crucial in helping us shut down similar operations."
