A medical group has warned patients about a one-day closure at 17 GP surgeries across North Yorkshire.

Heartbeat Primary Care CIC and a group of local GPs who are working together to make improvements to local health services are reminding patients in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area that several GP practices will be closed between 12pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, due to important staff training.

Out-of-hours cover has been arranged for patients who require urgent medical attention between these hours.

This can be accessed by calling the usual practice number where you will be redirected to a call-handling service.

They will provide appropriate healthcare advice and be able to direct patients to the most appropriate service for their needs.
