Leyburn Arts & Community Centre recently held a fundraising concert supported by local duo, Liffy, in support of the town's new Community Shed.
Piano and vocals duo Liffy, usually known as Liz Lobley and her husband Neil from Leyburn's Pet Shop, offered to do the "Live Music – an Evening with Liffy" concert, which was an entertaining evening of hits from Dolly Parton, Elaine Page, and Adele, plus many more from well known musicals.
A total of just under £600 was raised. A spokesperson for the Arts Centre said: "We are extremely grateful to Liz and Neil for offering to do this concert and much appreciate them foregoing their normal fee and giving the donation towards the Community Shed."
