Richmond Information Centre has 100 chocolate eggs to give away this Easter as part of a special quiz beginning on Saturday.

To win one of the Cadbury's treats, all youngsters have to do is take a short tour of the Market Place and answer six simple questions that put powers of observation to the test.

This is the second year in which a quiz for children under the age of 12 has been devised by the volunteers who run the Information Centre.

An easy-to-follow route map and each of the questions on the trail draw the entrant’s gaze to certain features that appear slightly above normal eye level.

Philippa Mort, the Information Centre volunteer who came up with the idea, said: "Most people never pay much attention to those aspects of our town that are not at street level… and quite rightly so.

"Our quiz invites children to ‘look up’ to see a wealth of interesting features that normally go unnoticed’. Their success in this pursuit could be rewarded with a free Cadbury Easter egg."

The quiz begins on Saturday, March 23, and will last until all of the 100 chocolate eggs have been won.

Entry forms are available from the Information Centre, which is at the back of the Market Hall and open daily from 10am to 4pm.
