A second man has been jailed for his role in connection with drug dealing in County Durham.
Kieran Carr, 24, of Newgate, Barnard Castle will spend the next three years behind bars after he was found inside an address during a police sting operation in January 2021.
He was arrested at the scene and later charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Appearing before Durham Crown Court last week he was sentenced to 36 months in prison.
He is the second man to have been caged after the operation.
His co-accused, 23-year-old Cameron Darke, also of Barnard Castle, also given a 26 month prison sentence.
Darke was suspected to have been dealing Class A drugs from his home and licences premises in the town. He was later charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.
Detective Constable Victoria Coxon, from Bishop Auckland Police said: “This is a great result after a lengthy two-year investigation to expose Carr’s criminal activity.
“The operation would not have been possible without the support of local residents and members of PubWatch who provided the investigation team with vital information.
“I would urge anyone if they have information relating to the supply of drugs to come forward and speak to us.”
