A Met Office spokesperson said: "Any lingering coastal drizzle and breezy conditions will soon clear away, leaving any low cloud to lift and break, allowing sunny spells.

"A few showers will develop, with the odd heavier one possible.

"Feeling warmer, with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 21 °C."
