From the week commencing Monday, August 14, the footpath will be reinstated from Barnard Street to Raby Terrace south side.

The carriageway will be closed from the Larchfield Street junction to the Raby Terrace junction with access to Barnard Street via Raby Terrace

There will be no access after 10am due to the work carried out on the footpath on the Skinnergate junction of Raby Terrace.

Once the night-time closure is complete on Monday, August 21, the Barnard Street junction will remain one-way traffic out of Barnard Street

From Tuesday, August 22, work will be carried out on the junction of Barnard Street.

Due to the width of the road it will not be possible for the work to be safely carried out while maintaining two-way traffic.

Vehicles, therefore, will only have access to Barnard Street from Duke Street and there will be no exit from Barnard Street onto Duke Street.

These measures will be in place for approximately three weeks to allow the installation of the build-outs either side of the junction along with the cycleway opposite.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
