Chaloner Street Market in Guisborough opened for the second time this year on Sunday with more than 30 stalls, offering all kinds of products, food and drink.
Fortunately, the weather was kind with even some sunshine on offer. Consequently, the fine weather brought out dozens of shoppers eager to see the wide range of goods on display.
Stalls ranged from basic foods with pies and sausage rolls from the Enfield Butchers, South African meat specialities, Collinson’s pork chops and sausages, buns and burgers from the Car Park kiosk, and cakes from Koselig, Nicola’s cake counter, and Peppermintskye, amongst others.
For those willing to try them, there were some interesting hot sauces from Balofire.
Daisy Distillery from Skelton had a range of gins on offer and the Teesside Coffee, also from Skelton, also had an interesting range of coffees.
There were also numerous craft stalls. Amongst them were Grandpa’s Workshop, Guisborough Town Pride, Minouche Lithoprints, Ashley’s crafts, Binky Boos Macrame, A Touch of Glass, and others. Other stalls included Marley Moor Pet Treats, and the greengrocer, Hambleton Hill Nursery.
The entertainment was begun by the trio, The Squad, followed by the street entertainer, Pete Zeke, who soon gathered a crowd to watch his juggling skills.
Additionally, there were some street puppets to entertain the children.
The Chaloner Street Market will return for a Christmas market later this year.
