An 18th Century pub has undergone refurbishment, and owners are seeking retrospective planning permission from North Yorkshire Council.
The application seeks listed building consent for retrospective works involving renovation of the listed Queens Head at 49 High Street, Stokesley.
The work includes external and internal redecoration, new signage, new floor finishes, amendment to the existing bar, new tiling to toilets and new sanitaryware, and a minor wall relocation on the first floor to form a toilet cubicle.
The building is believed to date back to the early mid-18th Century.
The pub lies within the Stokesley Conservation Area which also features other listed buildings including the Town Hall and a range of buildings dating from the 18th-20th Centuries.
The building is three storeys with five irregular windows to each floor.
According to planning documents, the building itself will not undergo any significant changes as part of the application and all works will be predominantly cosmetic, or to parts of the building that are modern additions.
