Police have confirmed a motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car, as three are arrested.
Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a man sadly died following a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Stockton.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said the incident occurred at around 10pm last night (Thursday June 8) on the A1027 in Stockton between the junction of The Glebe and Norton Avenue.
It involved a white Audi A5 and a Honda 125 motorcycle.
The spokesperson said: "Sadly, the motorcycle rider, a 58-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries. His family are being supported by specialist police officers.
"A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving while a 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old man have both been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
"All three remain in police custody at this time."
Officers are asking anyone who may have dashcam footage or information which may assist the investigation to call the police on 101, quoting reference number 110807.
