An auction of promises held in aid of Marie Curie raised more than £11,000 after generous donors came up with scores of quality prizes.
The charity turns 75 this year, and fundraising volunteers have been tasked with doing something new to celebrate.
Last year, the Marie Curie Stokesley Fundraising Group made more than £20,000 with a firewalk, and this year held an auction of promises.
The team gathered 70-plus lots, ranging from tip runs to heating oil, artwork, cases of wine, vouchers for haircuts, meals out and even holiday lets.
The event in Hutton Rudby became standing room only as the hall hit capacity, including walk-ins on the night, as auctioneer Andrew Dickins sold off the prizes.
Gemma Hewitt, Marie Curie senior community fundraiser for North Yorkshire, said: "During these increasingly difficult times, Stokesley ladies (and husbands) always seem to put these events together effortlessly, raising way more then ever expected. But I know how much hard work and time it takes. We are so grateful to them for two decades of support for our charity."
