Dales farmer and rock concert organiser Peter Fall says tickets for this year’s event have sold out in just a fortnight.
He has apologised to the many people who have since asked for tickets, but he is restricted to 800 people for the legendary Barn that Rocks gig at his farm at Patrick Brompton, near Bedale.
Since 2011 Peter has raised more than £107,000 for charity. For just one night of the year he turns the barns at his farm into a concert venue that has become a highlight of the calendar for many in the Yorkshire Dales.
“I have created a waiting list for people who missed out on getting the tickets,” he said. “I am so sorry but there is nothing I can do, if anyone who has tickets finds they aren’t going to be able to go do please get in touch with me.

“I am just flabbergasted that the tickets sold out so fast, with the cost of living and people struggling I thought it might be difficult this year, but they were just flying out, people are amazing and so supportive of what we do, we can’t thank them enough.”
The sell out was a particular bonus for Peter and his wife Barbara after the tickets went on sale on the day they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Keen music fans,. they started organising the concerts after reaching a point where they felt they were only meeting up with friends at funerals and wanted to get together for happier occasions.
They also wanted to support local medical services and have raised thousands for the Friarage Hospital. This year the proceeds from the concert will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The Barn that Rocks is being held on Saturday, June 24. Prizes for the raffle have already started pouring in and Peter is planning to create a marquee atmosphere at this year’s concert with drapes inside the barn.
The Replicants, will be appearing with Stax, The Granary House Band and Bang, Bang, Bang.
