A team of students from Stokesley School saw off competition from across the region to win a maths challenge.
The four-strong team, Jack Passman, Rosie Neville, Zoe Martin and Hassan Akram, were crowned champions of the "Maths Feast" contest held at Teesside University earlier this month.
Run by the government-funded Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, Maths Feast is a fun and educational challenge for year ten students which tests problem solving skills and teamwork.
Nineteen secondary schools from across the area took part.
A spokesperson for Stokesley School said: "Each student played their part by working together, utilising all their mathematical skills for victory”.
Headteacher Hannah Millett added: “Maths has always been a strength at Stokesley School and Sixth Form College but these students have taken it to a whole new level. We are exceptionally proud of what they have achieved and grateful to them for representing our school so fantastically well.”
