Police hunting for a 70-year-old who has been on the run for 14 months now believe he could be in Cyprus.
John Trevor Dodds was previously convicted and jailed for conspiracy to defraud and was recalled to prison in January last year after breaching his license conditions.
However after extensive enquiries officers are still yet to locate the 70-year-old.
And now they believe he may have travelled abroad to Cyprus.
Dodds, originally from Seamer near Stokesley, North Yorkshire has previously been described as being around 5ft 9 tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to come forward with information.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 12220006037.
“Alternatively, you can pass on information anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
