Fire and rescue crews were called to help a teenager trapped on a window ledge in Bedale on Saturday.
Firefighters from the town attended the incident in Firby Road at about 5.30pm.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the youth had become trapped on a first-floor window ledge of a commercial premises. Fire fighters used a nine metre ladder to rescue the young person.
