A man in his 80s suffered serious injuries in a collision between his mobility scooter and a car in Northallerton.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the crash between a white Citroen C1 and the black mobility scooter at the roundabout of Boroughbridge Road and South Parade at about 3.30pm on Monday, December 12.
Officers said the rider of the mobility scooter, a local man in his mid-80s, suffered serious pelvis and hip injuries which required hospital treatment.
The driver of the Citroen, aged in his early 20s and from Northallerton, is assisting the crash investigation.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, dash-cam footage or anyone who recalls seeing either vehicle prior to the collision to get in touch as soon as possible.
