As Darlington becomes the key focus of Levelling Up across the country, the whole region is attracting new jobs and new investment.

Team Manager - Safeguarding Adults, MCA and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

Salary: £44,624 - £47,665 per annum

Darlington Safeguarding Adults Team is currently undergoing a transformation. The responsible post holder will work closely with the Safeguarding Team and Senior Management Team, whilst also covering a period of maternity leave in this team.

Childcare Development Officer

£29,174 to £31,895 pro rata

The successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with early years settings, professionals, agencies and families, champion inclusion and promote the best for the youngest children in Darlington.

Social Worker - Ongoing Assessment and Intervention Team

£30,001 to £40,000

You will provide ongoing Social Work assessment, support planning and interventions for Adults aged 18+ with a range of complex needs in the Darlington area, based at The Town Hall in Darlington.

Head of Service (Looked after Children)

Up to £61,598 per annum

An opportunity to join the growing Senior Leadership Team in Children’s Services, as the council continues on its Strengthening Families journey to embed relational and restorative practice throughout the services.

Senior Finance Officer

£30,001 to £40,000

An enthusiastic and motivated individual, with relevant experience, to contribute to a highly effective service within the Finance Team responsible for Council-wide financial planning and management and the provision of financial information to a wide range of internal and external users.

HR Apprentice 

£20,001 to £30,000

As a HR Apprentice you will develop skills, knowledge and experience working across the HR Function.

Residential Child Care Worker

£29,174 - £31,895 per annum

An exceptional, enthusiastic and creative child focused people to work within Children Homes, with young people with complex and additional needs.

Finance and Administration Assistant

£19,264 per annum (pro-rata)

Working within a busy office environment you will assist in providing accurate and effective administrative support across the service areas.

Chef De Partie (Casual)

Up to £10,000

As a Chef at the Dolphin Centre you will thrive in a very busy environment preparing and serving food to a consistently high standard, ensuring excellent 5* food hygiene is given the highest priority.

Electrician

£30,256 per annum

This team look after domestic Council housing stock and other Council owned properties such as sheltered housing schemes.

Housing Team Leader - Income Management 

£32,798 - £35,336 per annum

The council needs an experienced housing professional with experience of housing debt collection and recovery.

Housing Options Officer 

£25,927 - £28,226

You will be required to work with complex and vulnerable clients by providing housing advice, support and assistance to those potentially homeless or in housing need.

Food and Bar Service Staff

£18,887 per annum (pro rata)

You will cover shifts in our Bistro area as well as 16 Horsemarket Café Bar. The South Park Café is also managed by Dolphin Centre Catering and there may be opportunity to fulfil hours in this area too.

Civic Enforcement Officer

£21,269 - £22,571

Workng with the Community Safety Team, which brings together Anti-Social Behaviour, Environmental Crime, Civil Parking, CCTV, Licensing and Private Sector Housing and Trading Standards.
