STOKESLEY Show will return on Saturday, September 17, and organisers say it will be bigger and better than ever.

All the traditional activities associated with an agricultural show will have a presence – plus some fresh ideas.

Show president this year is the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Johanna Ropner, who together with the Hammonds Saltaire Band, will open the show. The band will march through Stokesley High Street and arrive on the show field to officially start the event.

Other attractions include a visit from Diggerland, with an opportunity for children to have a go, and a show featuring performing.

Paul Hannam, a quad bike stuntman from North Devon with 25 years’ experience riding quad bikes and 10 years’ experience racing at British Championship level, will stage a stunt Show in the Millbry Stud Main Ring Arena. There will be precision riding, a multiple roll stunt quad, and he will jump as hight as possible.

Between displays visitors are encouraged to visit the interactive stand where they can get a closer look at the bikes, meet the riders and get a photo.
