THERE was plenty of fun in the sun as the 112th Osmotherley Show took place on Saturday.
The showfield, at Home Farm, Thimbleby, was busy from mid-morning, as visitors turned out in force to see a variety of attractions.
Cattle and sheep classes were well supported, and there were scores of horse and pony classes.
The show's popular fell race attracted about 100 runners, while the produce and horticulture tents were busy with entrants eager to find out if they had won prizes.
Osmotherley Silver Band provided musical accompaniment, and the dog show was busy all day with show visitors entering their four-legged friends.
Other attractions included sheep dog trials, gun dog scurry, and a parade of vintage tractors.
