TO mark the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Rotary Club of Northallerton, a special display has been created in a window at Barkers Department Store.

Boards and photographs describe the club and typical projects run locally and internationally to help other charities and support those in need.

The display was revealed on Friday, July 29 and will remain in place for the first two weeks of August.

A spokesperson for the Rotary club said it is very grateful to Barkers and its skilful window dressers Fiona and Stela for bringing the display to life in style, and to Imprint Services of Anchorage Lane for the quality printing of the display items.

The window display will complement the Rotary Club's Summer Fiesta to be held on Saturday, August 13 in Northallerton Town Square in front of the Town Hall. Look out for the blue gazebo with Rotary markings, where there will be live music, games and a tombola from 9am to 4pm.
