GUISBOROUGH held its first scarecrow festival since the pandemic at the weekend.
Scarecrows popped up in various places, including St Nicholas Church, Gisborough Priory, the United Reformed Church, the council offices and in various shops and people’s gardens.
All kind of ingenuity was used to create the various figures, but as the scarecrows could not be kept overnight in public places, they had to be taken in for safety each night.
