Organisers of the charity concert The Barn That Rocks have announced the official figure raised this year was £15,046.21.
The money is to go to the Friends of the Friarage. This brings the total over the last ten years to £107, 546.21.
Farmer Peter Fall, who runs the event in the buildings at his farm at Patrick Brompton, near Bedale, said he was extremely proud at the amount raised and thanked everyone for their support from volunteers who help to stage the concert to guests who turned up to dance the night away.
“I really can’t thank everyone enough, it is a lot of work but so worthwhile, and the amount of support we get from people is phenomenal,” he said.
Plans are already underway for next year's Barn That Rocks, which will be held on June 24, 2023.
