ELLIOT EMBLETON has been promoted to Sunderland's starting line-up for this afternoon's play-off final against Wycombe Wanderers.
Embleton replaces Jack Clarke in the only change to the side that started both legs of the semi-final against Sheffield Wednesday.
Sunderland are set to remain with a flat back four, with Lynden Gooch and Dennis Cirkin expected to line up as full-backs and Bailey Wright partnering Danny Batth at centre-half.
While Carl Winchester returned to training last week, the Northern Irishman does not make the matchday squad.
Nathan Broadhead is in the squad, but the Everton loanee is only on the bench - along with Aiden McGeady - with Ross Stewart lining up as a lone striker.
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has named former Sunderland midfielder Josh Scowen as part of his starting side.
