POLICE have confirmed the identity of a man who died in a collision with a lorry.
Ian Raper, 49, from Shildon, was involved in the collision in Woodland Road, Darlington, on Friday, April 29.
The incident, which involved a lorry and a pedestrian, happened shortly before 10.10am, near the junction with Hollyhurst Road.

Mr Raper was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have asked for privacy as they come to terms with their loss.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation.
