ST Mary's Primary School at Bolton on Swale, Richmond had a special visit from Father Christmas just before the end of term, helped on his way by local farmers.
Due to Covid, Santa couldn't make his usual visit inside the school, so called in the farming community to help out. A tractor was loaned by Brian Robinson Machinery from East Cowton, and given a Christmas make over by mums from the school.
The tractor driver and Santa's helper were local farmers who joined in dressing up and helping Santa pass on the Christmas cheer. The children could be heard cheering and shouting once they had spotted Father Christmas coming across the field, which borders the school.
