DEVELOPER Newett Homes has now issued a formal planning application to build about 65 new homes in Guisborough.
The properties, on a greenfield site, north of the Hutton Meadows estate, would have access through the estate and particularly Trefoil Close. Under the proposals, the homes would be designed for first time buyers, downsizers and growing families, including affordable homes, and a new public open space would be created on land between Meynell Avenue, Fanacurt Road and Hutton Beck.
At 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 8, there will be a public meeting to discuss the application at the Galley Hill Leisure Centre, Falcon Way, in Guisborough.
Members of the public are invited to attend to give their views on the proposal.
The meeting has been convened by GAMBOL – Guisborough Against More Building on Open Land.
