ALL 21 teams in the newitts.com Beckett Football League were involved in games on Saturday.

In division one, leaders Ryedale Sports Club visited Bagby and Balk and completed a league double with a ten-nil win, although once again the home side were well below full strength team due to non-availability of key players.

The Ryedale goals were scored by Harvey D’Alquin (five), Dave Thompson (four), and James Reed. Man of the match winners were Will Fisher (Bagby and Balk), Harry Reed (Ryedale SC).

Second placed Kirkbymoorside Reserves visited Sinnington, winning 12-2 thanks to first half goals scored by Marcus Godsell (three), Jason Brown, and Josh Tateson in the first half, and second half strikes from Brown (two) to complete his hat-trick, a second for Tateson, Fin Watson, Shaun Smith, Tony Barnett, and Chris Hodgson. The Sinnington goals were scored by Jack Balderson. Man of the match for Kirkbymoorside was Jason Brown.

Rosedale entertained Sleights in what was to be expected a closely fought contest, and the game ended all square at 2-2.

Rosedale started well and within 15 minutes won a free kick about 30 yards out. Captain Paul Allsopp's efforts deflected off the wall and went in.

Sleights equalised five minutes before half time, when Will Cork-Dove beat the offside trap, while Sam Taylor in the Rosedale goal made a few brilliant saves.

Rosedale regained the lead when captain Paul Allsopp ran almost the entire length of the pitch before squaring to James Kellett for a tap in. The home side held out until the last five minutes when Sleights slipped one in near post through Robbie Hurworth.

Sleights had debutant Sam Bailey sent off late on for a tackle on the 'keeper, however. Man of the match winners were Sam Taylor in goal for Rosedale, and Robbie Hurworth for Sleights.

In division two, Thornton le Dale Reserves entertained Heslerton, and local lad Morgan Kendrew took centre stage with the first hattrick of the 18-year-old's senior footballing career as Heslerton ran out 4-1 winners. The other goals came from Gareth Driver (Heslerton) and Luke Hobbs for Dale from the penalty spot.

Man of the match winners were Isaac Edmund playing at centre back for Thornton le Dale, and Morgan Kendrew with his hat-trick for Heslerton.
