ALL 21 teams in the Beckett Football League were involved in games on Saturday.

In division one, leaders Ryedale Sports Club visited Bagby and Balk and completed a league double with a ten-nil win, although once again the home side were well below full strength team due to non-availability of key players.

Rosedale entertained Sleights in what was to be expected a closely fought contest, and the game ended all square at 2-2.

Sleights equalised five minutes before half time, when Will Cork-Dove beat the offside trap, while Sam Taylor in the Rosedale goal made a few brilliant saves.

Rosedale regained the lead when captain Paul Allsopp ran almost the entire length of the pitch before squaring to James Kellett for a tap in. The home side held out until the last five minutes when Sleights slipped one in near post through Robbie Hurworth.

Sleights had debutant Sam Bailey sent off late on for a tackle on the 'keeper, however. Man of the match winners were Sam Taylor in goal for Rosedale, and Robbie Hurworth for Sleights.
