MAGISTRATES have fined a Carlisle man £162 for using threatening behaviour.
Craig William Metcalfe, 40, of Flower Street, committed the offence on January 24, the city’s Rickergate court heard.
He originally denied the offence but changed his plea to guilty when he appeared in court this week.
As well as the fine, magistrates imposed a community order, ruling that Metcalfe must complete up to 15 days of rehabilitation. He must also pay £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
He will be allowed to pay his debt to the court at a rate of £20 per month.
