FARMER’S wife Helen Dinsdale had just about given up trying to help her husband on the farm as after only a short time she would become exhausted and aching all over.
After the birth of her son she decided enough was enough, as soon she would have a toddler to run after in addition to tackling the many physical jobs on the farm.
She explained: “My mum was already a member of the local Slimming World club in Leyburn so I plucked up the courage to go along with her.
“I took my six-week-old baby with me, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to both of us.
“When lockdown hit in March 2020 I was very worried how this would affect my weight loss but within hours my consultant and Slimming World were there to reassure everyone that they were still here for us all."
