The special hour-long Light Spectacular trips will run every evening at 6pm and 7.45pm from October 23 to 31.

A NYMR spokesman said: "Marvel at our heritage carriages, decorated with thousands of lights, before departing from Pickering Station for an awe-inspiring journey.

"Let Voice Over Man, from the X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent, entertain you on your journey alongside a DJ-Mix of music that will get you in the mood for a party the whole family will enjoy.

"Each passenger will be given their own interactive LED wristband which is synchronised to the music and passengers become part of the show."

Pickering Tea Room will open until 8pm every evening along with a trolley service on-board.
