A POPULAR North Yorkshire railway is gearing up for winter after it announced its annual favourite will be back for 2021.

North Yorkshire Moors Railway have announced its popular Christmas Pullman dining experience will be returning this year, with tickets going on sale on October 12.

The dining experience is set to feature warming starters, traditional roast mains and Christmas pudding as well.

Departing from Grosmont Station on Thursdays to Sundays in December before Christmas Day, the Christmas Moorlander will depart from Pickering station on December 29, 30, 31 as well as January 1 and 2 2022.

Prices will start from £149 for a table or two, £298 for a table of four or a private coupe for four priced at £303.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine on arrival,, followed by a selection of seasonal dishes, including chestnuts, parsnip and bacon soup, smoked salmon and much more.

A variety of sweet treats will also be available to customers such as apple, cinnamon and sultana pie or cheesecake.
