Steve Cotter, who won three trophies at the Leyburn Bowling Club Finals Weekend
LEYBURN Bowling Club's finals weekend saw one competitor scoop up half the trophies on offer.
Over the season, six competitions are keenly contested within the club and culminate in the finals played over two days.
In the Aussie Pairs, Kathy Benson and Phil Clark took the trophy, with the Wilk John Cup won by Steve Cotter. In the Barclay Cup, Chris Mainprize came out top.
The Jack Ellis Cup went to Steve Cotter as did the Todd Cup, with Hazel Derby victorious for the Walker Cup.
A club spokesman said: “The star of the weekend was Steve Cotter, winning three trophies.”
