RACE action returns to Croft Circuit this weekend when the North Yorkshire track welcomes the British Automobile Racing Club who plan another busy schedule over the two days.

Now in the second half of the season, the various championships are starting to play out which will mean the usual intense action over 15 races around the challenging 2.12-mile circuit between Northallerton and Darlington.

The Caterham Graduates Sigma 135/Sigma 150 and Sigmax classes, CNC Heads Sports/Saloon Car Championship, Silverlake C1 Racing Series and Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres are all in action over the weekend, in addition to the Mini Challenge Cooper Championship, which occasionally supports the BTCC meetings, which means another action-packed schedule.

Practice gets underway at 9.30am on Saturday with the first of ten races scheduled to start at 11.25am. Racing starts at 12pm noon on Sunday with the further five races. It is now just six weeks before the biggest motorsport event takes place in the region with Croft Circuit gearing up to welcome the 2021 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. Advance tickets are selling fast but are still available for a limited time for the meeting on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19. Tickets are priced at £12 for Saturday entry (BTCC qualifying), £28 for Sunday (BTCC race day) or £38 for the full weekend. Accompanied children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge, with tickets for 13-to-15-year-olds beginning at £3.
