A NEW bereavement friendship group is being set up in Northallerton for those who have lost their partner.
The group, organised by Hambleton Community Action, is aimed at people who have lost a loved one and would like to meet others in a similar position to arrange social gatherings and events for mutual support.
A preliminary meeting will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, June 29 in Northallerton. It will discuss what people would like to do as a group at future get-togethers and how often the group would wish to meet.
A spokesperson for Hambleton Community Action said: "So that we have an idea of numbers wishing to attend, please register your interest by emailing reception@hambletoncommunityaction.org or give us a call on 01609 780458."
