Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was approached by a man in Norton.
A spokesperson said: "At approximately 13:45hrs on 16th June a teenage girl was walking down Welham Road, Norton when she was stopped by a male in a large white van who proceeded to offer her a lift.
"Despite her ignoring him and continuing on her walk he then stopped again, complimented her and offered her a lift for the second time.
"She did not know this male. She refused the lift however the incident made her feel very uncomfortable.
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify the male and advise him that this behaviour is not appropriate."
