A MACHETE has been seized in a Teesside town and two men have been arrested.
Police were called to a report of two men being in the possession of a machete on Yarm Lane in Stockton on Saturday (June 5) after they had been sighted by CCTV operators.
Stockton Neighbourhood Officers attended the scene and two men aged 34 and 24 were arrested on suspicion of being in the possession of a bladed article.
The machete (shown in the photo) - which had been discarded was located and seized.
The two men have been released pending enquiries.
